School Challenge Distance Assistance Program

Through resources, E-mail and phone assistance, the two levels of the School Challenge guides successful healthy eating and physical activity action. Healthy Kids Challenge has time-saving resources and tips to lead successful wellness outcomes.

With flexible distance assistance, the “Challenge” provides creative ideas and resources. Schools and youth programs find:

• Easy to implement actions
• A “start where you are approach”, building on what exists
• Solutions to integrate healthy eating and physical activity into daily practices
• A positive self-esteem approach with actions for all kids, regardless of size

Level 1 Stepping Up Challenge

By joining this Level 1 Stepping Up “Challenge” you will receive: An affordable distance assistance program that includes a getting started one-on-one phone call, toolkits, and educational webinars.

 Timeline:  1 year enrollment

Cost - $500/school for one year

• 1 Wellness Solutions Toolkit (complete set of HKC booklets)
• 1 set of resources from the Health Works Premier Kit
• 3 Webinars of your choice
• 1 start up planning and organizing call

Level 2 Making Strides Challenge

By joining Level 2 Making Strides, receive a full HKC Resource Toolkit PLUS distance assistance and training!

Timeline: 1 year enrollment

Cost - $2500/school for one year

• 1 HKC Wellness Solutions Kit  (complete set of HKC booklets)
• Includes 1 set of resources from the Health Works Premier Kit
• ALL HKC 9 Solutions Webinars
• Scheduled monthly phone and e-mail assistance with your own HKC school resource coach

Up to 10 hours of phone and e-mail assistance to help your school/program wellness leaders take action, problem solve, and enjoy positive, fun wellness outcomes!

Having a resource coach makes it easier for busy leaders to pursue wellness as a key strategy for healthy change. We listen, we provide solutions, we support.

• Access to Making Strides ONLY section of the HKC website for tip sheets and modules, tracking logs, assessment and survey tools
• Tips and ideas to help support the healthy changes you want to make in your school/program. Tools serve as added resources beyond the webinars.
• $500 educational materials rewards program

Earn additional teaching materials by submitting brief surveys and assessments that measure your wellness progress.
