Since 2004, CIGNA and Healthy Kids Challenge have been developing & co-branding programs that drive behavioral change among school-age children & improve fitness levels & nutrition. One of those programs, Making Strides, offers multi-level assistance to schools & programs to develop healthy environments based on their individual needs, interests, & resources.

 HKC-CIGNA Making Strides Schools are funded by CIGNA offices in different regions of the U.S. Participants include public and private elementary schools with a minimum 100 students and a diverse population.
